The gift of thinking differently. One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to fit in.
At school, many of us are taught that success comes from following the rules, colouring inside the lines, and doing things exactly as everyone else does.
Yet when you look at the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders, a different picture emerges.
The people who create change often think differently, seeing opportunities others miss.
They ask questions others avoid and challenge assumptions everyone else accepts.
For years, I saw some of my differences as weaknesses.
My ADHD meant my mind was constantly active. Ideas came quickly. Focus sometimes disappeared just as quickly.
Yet over time I realised that many of the qualities I had struggled with became strengths in business.
Creativity, vision, energy, and curiosity.
The ability to see connections where others saw obstacles.
What if the thing you’ve spent years trying to hide is your greatest asset?
What if your differences are not holding you back?
What if they are the very thing that will help you stand out?
Success often begins the moment you stop trying to be someone else.
