Why did I go into a business? Probably for the same reason most self-employed people do.
It is to control my destiny, as I don’t want other people telling me what I can and what I can’t do every minute of the day for my entire life.
So for the last 46 years of being a responsible self-employed person, I have followed my own instinct, my gut feelings and common sense in questing everything with a why, keeping me grounded, stopping me from panicking and it’s fun.
I knew my limitations when working for others, and I also knew my strengths and my weaknesses.
I also understood why I was doing what I didn’t want to do; it was the society I was born in. I had been brainwashed at school just to conform and not to ask why.
After working for other people for eight years, I knew what motivated me each day, and what I needed to do to make me happy, then I realised to attain happiness is to attain success in life by never fitting into some other persons agender who doesn’t care for me.
And certainly not following the crowd because most people don’t know where or why they are going or who is herding them and what will happen to them when they get there.
For me to manage my own life, I have to ask why; Why am I being coerced into doing/being and having what the masses are being coerced into, I have to constantly ask myself why, every day is a new why day without fail.
Today all over the world, the most used sentence is “I don’t understand.”
Ask yourself, why is that? Let the question sink in, and you will soon realise that actually, you do understand, and probably you fear that history is repeating itself; therefore, It can stop you from ever asking why again.
