Oundle Marina

Oundle Marina situated on the River Nene, halfway between Peterborough and Northampton between the upper and lower Barnwell locks was established some 60 years ago. The Marina has 191 non-residential moorings plus dedicated visitor moorings. The whole site extends to an area of approximately 23 acres.

Oundle Marina was originally developed from former gravel workings, and up until recently, an industrial boat building complex.  As well as the 200 moorings there is also a well-stocked Chandlery, a gantry that can launch boats up to 62 foot long, a slipway, diesel, petrol, shower and launderette facilities, plus workshops for boat repairs, boat painting and engine servicing.

The plan is to modernise the Marina offering new services throughout and provide more facilities for the public, estimated budget of £20 million.
