What is life without having goals? I don’t know. One thing I do know is that I have been able to do everything I wanted to do by having them.
Knowing how essential making goals are to creating the successes I have had over the years has made me ask the people that I Mentor to share their wants, needs, hopes, and dreams with me; then, I encourage them to make their goals.
I encourage them to make a list so they can read and re-read it at every opportunity they get throughout the day.
God has blessed all of us to have the ability to create and achieve some incredible goals.
I hear you say that anyone has that ability if they put their mind to it, and you would be right.
Most people can do that, but when setting goals, there has to be an overwhelming reason to make those goals in the first place.
I set my biggest goals in 1965 when I was 15 years old to prove to myself that the negative brainwashing I was subjected to for the first 15 years of my life that I would never amount to anything was all lies.
So I turned my dreams into goals beyond my capabilities in other people’s eyes. Still, nothing is impossible to achieve if you have an overwhelming reason to achieve them.
