Don’t fall down the same hole every day.
Instinct plays a significant part in the success of any business, I would say that most people possess instinct, but very few ever use it.
One of the many stories in my Autobiography is about the brainy fox and a scared rabbit.
One day a rabbit bumped into the fox in the woods; they talked about the new local hounds that the farmer had brought to the farm to pursue them.
The brainy fox said they wouldn’t get me, as I am too brainy for them, and I can outwit them.
The brainy fox said, when I hear them coming, I can go down my fox hole or get in the stream, so they lose my scent or climb a tree or get on the roof over there; the scared rabbit said, I couldn’t do any of those things as I am just a scared rabbit, all I can do is what scared rabbits do, and that’s run.
At that moment, they heard the barking of the hounds, so the scared rabbit just instinctively ran faster than it had ever run before, while the brainy fox thinks, shall I go down the hole or get into the stream to lose the scent or maybe I will climb on that roof over there.
At that moment, the dogs came and ate him.
