Don’t fall down the same hole every day.
A man who walks to work down the same street every day found one day a hole that he fell in; he got himself out and carried on to work.
The next day he walks down the same street; he sees the same hole and yet still falls into it; he gets himself out and carries on.
The following day, the man walks down the same street, sees the same hole, walks around it but still falls down the side, climbs out and carries on.
The next day, he walks down the street, sees the hole, turns around, and takes another route.
