As a dyslexic, words and their meanings have always amused me. Have you ever heard or even said “I want to, but I can’t”?
Well I have, I had those words in my mind until I became 24 years old then they had to go.
Whatever you do in life there will always be a time when fear creeps in, stopping you from doing something, learning something or even disbelieving what’s happening.
Most people want everything that they desire but, they also want it to come easy and have it now.
When the realization of working your socks until you create success and enough money kicks in, the sentence “I want to but I can’t” appears, and in truth, the easy life and not having what you want is more appealing to many so there is acceptance of I must fall in line with the masses.
Now, the person that has a real desire to want something removes the “but” from their vocabulary along with the word can’t which was put into the English language in my opinion just to keep people down.
